... to be nice to your girlfriend's friends when they act, think and even breath like mindless snobs, full of empty pretensions and faked opinions.
Today in Mariel's Comic class one of her friends started talking about Kill Bill, and the conversation was kinda nice until one of them, the most pretentious girl on the planet (Kuja) said that she loved the movie, except for that "ugly blonde" (talking about Uma)... that ruined the movie!!!
DAMN GIRL!!! What did you wanted, a maniac-depressive, pale, brunette goth chic in the role of Beatrix Kiddo????
I swear... I hyperventilated when she said this... is she stupid or what?

No, I rephrase, not as question: She is stupid.
Bah!
But I suppose everybody has his "stupid pretentious snob" phase. Heck! I am sure I acted like that sometimes.
But it's so hard... how to do it? How to be nice to Mariel's friends when you don't particularly like them.

It's easy. You be nice to Mariel's friends because you love her.
And I don't think Kuja is stupid in any way. She might live in her own world (don't we all?)... and she might experience life from her very particular mindset... but I don't think she is stupid at all.
